We haven’t had power since Sunday.

There’s no way to heat our homes. Imagine being in single digit temps with no fireplace, eclectic heater, or even insulated walls. Some folks don’t even have coats. Why is no one helping us?? People are dying of hypothermia and starvation. We’re running out of water and all our food has gone bad. Their only solution is the warming stations but you have to drive in deadly conditions to get there. Where’s the national guard? They never take long when it comes to suppressing Black and Brown “rioters”. I’ve never seen roads this bad…


When it comes to Black Lives Matter, one can either be for it or against it. You cannot say “Black lives matter”, but then not back the movement (that just makes you part of the problem). But what is Black Lives Matter fighting for? The liberation and equal rights of all Black people. Why is that so difficult for people to get behind? BLM is not asking for special treatment (although reparations are not a radical request), it is asking for the right for Black people to exist safely and fairly in our nation. Waco Tours is a racist company. As a former employee, and one of the few BIPOC at the company, as I am Korean American, this is my personal account. Waco Tours lures its customers in by offering a local’s perspective of the city complete with Fixer Upper houses and other hidden gems, but who is the local they’re referring to?
